New VAT e-Commerce regime in Cape Verde

Cape Verde has just approved a new regime for VAT on international e-commerce as part of its Budget Law for 2022. The regime relies on the liability of vendors and financial intermediaries and on a simplified registration scheme for large foreign suppliers. The regime will come into force and be implemented during 2022.
